Privacy policy.

What we collect, how we use it, and the levers you have. We've kept it short and written it the way we'd want to read it.

01

Who we are

The Service is operated by LOQO AI LABS PRIVATE LIMITED (“Loqo,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at A-116, Urbtech Trade Centre, Sector 132, Noida – 201304, Uttar Pradesh, India (CIN: U62091UP2025PTC225419).

Loqo provides AI-powered video generation tools at loqo.ai, beta.loqo.ai, and through associated applications and APIs (together, the “Service”).

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws — including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) (“DPDP Act”) and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) — LOQO AI LABS PRIVATE LIMITED is the data fiduciary / data controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Privacy contact: privacy@loqo.ai. Grievance Officer (India): Deepak Jain, Founder — grievance@loqo.ai. We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within the timelines required under applicable law.

Personal information (or personal data) means any information that identifies you, directly or indirectly — such as your name, email, IP address, or other online identifiers.
Sensitive personal data has the meaning given under applicable law and includes passwords, financial information (such as payment-instrument details), and biometric information. Where you upload reference media containing faces or voices, we treat it with the care described in Section 3.2.
02

What this policy covers

This policy applies to personal information we process when you visit our websites, use the Loqo application or APIs, contact support, or interact with our marketing pages and social channels.

It does not cover third-party services you choose to connect or export to (for example, payment providers, review tools, or editing software). Those are governed by their own privacy policies.

If you use Loqo through a company or studio account, and that customer uploads content containing other people's information (for example, an actor's reference footage), the customer is responsible for that content and acts as the data controller for it; we process it on their instructions as a service provider. Business customers can request our Data Processing Addendum at legal@loqo.ai.

03

Information we collect

3.1 Information you give us

Account data — name, email address, organisation, and a hashed password when you create an account.
Billing data — billing address and transaction history. Card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors (Razorpay for payments in India, and Stripe for international payments). We never see or store your full card number.
Content — prompts, scripts, slug lines, uploaded reference images, video, and audio, generated renders, comments, and edit history within your projects.
Communications — messages you send to support or feedback you share with us.

3.2 Reference media containing faces and voices

Loqo lets you upload reference images, video, or audio so that characters stay consistent across shots. Because this can include real people's faces and voices, we want to be precise about how it is handled:

Uploaded reference media is used to fulfil your generation requests — keeping the same face, costume, set, or voice consistent across your renders — and, as described in Section 5, to develop and improve our models and Service.
We do not perform facial recognition or identification. We do not attempt to determine who is in your uploads, and we do not build a public, searchable database of identities.
We never sell your reference media. We share it only with the infrastructure vendors that process it on our behalf (Section 6).

Your responsibility: before uploading media containing an identifiable real person, you must have that person's consent or another lawful right to use their likeness or voice. The Service will ask you to confirm this before face and voice features activate. Misuse — including deceptive synthetic media of real people without consent — violates our Terms and will result in account action.

3.3 Information collected automatically

When you use the Service we collect device type, browser, operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, render counts, feature interactions, and error/crash logs. We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, security, and analytics — see our Cookie Policy at loqo.ai/cookies for details and controls. Our analytics and monitoring vendors are listed in Section 6.

3.4 Using Loqo without an account

You can render one full-length scene without creating an account. In that case we collect only the prompt you submit, the render we produce, and minimal anonymous usage data. We do not ask for your name or email, and we do not attempt to identify anonymous users. Anonymous renders are retained for 30 days and then deleted from active storage.

3.5 Information from third parties

Social sign-in — if you sign up or log in through a third-party account (such as Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider, typically your name, email address, and profile picture. Your use of that provider is governed by its own privacy policy.
Referrals and invites — if you invite a colleague to Loqo, we collect the contact details you provide so we can deliver the invitation. Please only share someone's details if you have their permission.

We may combine information we receive from these sources with the information we collect directly.

04

How we use information

We use personal information for the purposes below.

Provide the Service — render videos from your prompts, store projects in your workspace, sync across devices. Legal basis: Contract.
Billing & account management — process subscriptions, send invoices, prevent payment fraud. Legal basis: Contract; legal obligation.
Security, abuse prevention & moderation — detect violations of our Acceptable Use rules, protect against fraud and attacks. Legal basis: Legitimate interests; legal obligation.
Service improvement — analyse aggregated, de-identified usage patterns; fix bugs; develop features. Legal basis: Legitimate interests.
Model development & training — use Your Content to develop, train, and improve our AI models and Service (Section 5). Legal basis: Legitimate interests; performance of contract.
Transactional messages — render-complete notices, billing receipts, security alerts. Legal basis: Contract.
Marketing (optional) — product news and offers, only with your consent where required, always with one-click unsubscribe. Legal basis: Consent.
Legal compliance — respond to lawful requests; enforce our Terms. Legal basis: Legal obligation; legitimate interests.

Content moderation: prompts, uploads, and generated outputs may be automatically scanned — and, in flagged cases, reviewed by trained staff under confidentiality obligations — to detect content that violates our Terms (for example, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or deceptive synthetic media of real people). We retain records of confirmed violations as needed for safety and legal purposes.

Some of this processing is necessary to provide the Service. You can withdraw consent or object at any time (Section 8), but if you decline processing that is essential to a feature, that feature — or your account — may not be able to function.

05

AI training and your content

We use Your Content — including prompts, scripts, uploads, and renders — to develop, train, and improve our AI models, technologies, and Service. This applies to free and paid accounts. By using the Service you grant us the licence described in our Terms (Section 6) to do this.
We use this content to improve output quality, character consistency, safety, and new features.
We apply technical and organisational measures to limit unnecessary exposure of identifying detail in training, but content you provide may influence the models that serve all users.
Loqo staff do not casually browse your content. Access is limited to specific, logged circumstances: investigating abuse reports, debugging an issue with your permission, building and evaluating our models, or responding to valid legal process.
You still own Your Content (see our Terms, Section 6). Our rights to use it are a licence, not a transfer of ownership.
Business and enterprise customers under a separate agreement may have different data-use terms, which prevail for them.
Deletion: you can delete Your Content and account at any time (Section 8). Deletion removes content from your workspace and our active systems on the timelines in Section 7, but it does not reverse training or other uses already made under the licence before deletion.
06

Sharing and disclosure

We share personal information only in the following cases:

Service vendors (sub-processors) — companies that process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements: cloud and GPU rendering infrastructure (Amazon Web Services), payment processing (Razorpay, Stripe), email delivery (our transactional email provider), product analytics, and error monitoring. A current list is maintained at loqo.ai/subprocessors.
Integrations you connect — if you connect or export to a third-party tool, we send data there only on your action.
Team and organisation accounts — if you join a company or studio account, the administrator of that account can access and manage your account, including projects and content created within it. If you signed up with an organisation email address, we may share your email with that organisation's administrators.
Professional advisors — lawyers, auditors, accountants, bankers, and insurers, where necessary for the professional services they provide to us, under confidentiality obligations.
Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Loqo, our users, or the public. Where legally permitted, we will notify you before disclosing your data in response to a government demand.
Business transfers — if Loqo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, customer data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy and with notice to you.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not run third-party ads on the Service.

07

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes below.

Account data — life of your account, then deleted within 30 days of account closure.
Projects, renders, prompts, reference media — life of your account; deleted within 30 days when you delete a project or your account (backup copies purged within 90 days).
Anonymous free renders — 30 days, then deleted from active storage.
Billing & tax records — 8 years, as required by Indian law.
Moderation records (confirmed violations) — up to 3 years, for safety and legal compliance.
Server & security logs — 90 days.

We may also delete or anonymise accounts and their content that have been inactive for more than 12 months, after giving you notice by email.

08

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, we extend the same core rights to you:

Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Delete your account and associated content (self-serve from Workspace Settings, or by email).
Export your data in a machine-readable format.
Object to certain processing, or withdraw consent at any time — withdrawing is as easy as giving it.
Nominate (India) another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, as provided under the DPDP Act.

To exercise any of these, use the in-product controls or email privacy@loqo.ai. We may need to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in India, the Data Protection Board of India; in the EU/UK, your local data protection authority.

Marketing: unsubscribe links appear in every marketing email. Cookies: manage preferences via the cookie banner or loqo.ai/cookies.

09

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), strict role-based access to production systems with audit logging, and regular internal security reviews. We continue to invest in our security program as we grow.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

10

Where your data lives

Loqo is operated from India. Our infrastructure is hosted with Amazon Web Services in India (Mumbai) and other regions, and your data may be processed in any of these regions.

From the EEA/UK — transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), with supplementary measures where appropriate.
From India — transfers are made in accordance with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Central Government.

Wherever your data is processed, it is protected by this policy and our vendor agreements.

11

Children

The Service is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old to use Loqo if you are in India, and at least 16 elsewhere. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@loqo.ai and we will delete it.

12

Notice to European (EEA/UK) users

Legal bases for each processing purpose are set out in the table in Section 4.

You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
13

Notice to Indian users (DPDP Act, 2023)

This policy serves as the notice under the DPDP Act describing the personal data we process and the purposes.
Where we process your data on the basis of consent, you may withdraw consent at any time through the Service or by writing to us; withdrawal is as simple as giving consent and does not affect prior lawful processing.
You have the rights described in Section 8, including the right to grievance redressal and the right to nominate.
Grievance Officer: Deepak Jain, Founder, grievance@loqo.ai, at the registered address in Section 1.
Provisions relating to registered Consent Managers will be added once the DPDP Rules governing them are operative.
14

Notice to California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

In the preceding 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 3 (identifiers; commercial information; internet activity; audio/visual content you upload; inferences limited to service analytics). We collect them for the purposes in Section 4 and disclose them to the service providers in Section 6.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit.
California residents may exercise the rights to know, delete, and correct (Section 8) without discrimination.
We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where legally required.
Authorised agents may submit requests with proof of authorisation to privacy@loqo.ai.
15

The Service may link to sites and tools we don't control. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies before sharing data with them.

16

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Prior versions are available on request at privacy@loqo.ai.

Any notices we send you will go to the most recent email address on your account, or be posted within the Service, consistent with applicable law.
